About von Pfeffel Pharma

Founded by Jonathan David after his personal diagnosis with GIST and named in honor of his ancestors, von Pfeffel Pharma was born from a desire to turn a personal battle into a widespread victory for all GIST patients.

Jonathan relates, “GIST blindsided me at the peak of my life, having just celebrated my 50th birthday and feeling on top of the world. It was thankfully discovered early—completely by accident—since I had no symptoms.”

Following surgery, Jonathan formed a research consortium composed of the top researchers in the world. After years of research, the result is a very promising molecule—now being developed as a new drug.

Jonathan shares, “My philosophy was simple—Don’t sit back… ATTACK!”

“I have been blessed to have lived an incredible decade since my diagnosis—seeing my children grow up and, along the way, bringing a new child into the world.
